Farrar & Ball, LLP come to settlement with Ford Motor Co. regarding 15-passenger van rollover.

Farrar & Ball, LLP recently came to a settlement with Ford Motor Company regarding a 15-passenger van rollover in which a four-year old girl died. Farrar & Ball, LLP sued Ford Motor Co. in Los Angeles County, California alleging the 15-passenger E-350 van, designed and manufactured by Ford Motor Co., was designed with an inherent flaw which caused it to roll over under normal and foreseeable operation. The E-350 van has been the subject of numerous lawsuits throughout recent years based on the discovery that Ford knew of its dangerous propensities and nonetheless consciously chose not to spend the time and money to fix the design flaw due to cost considerations. After the settlement, Mr. Ball offered the following: “Ford has a serious problem with these vans. As long as Ford, and other manufactures, continue to sale these vans, we will be there to hold them accountable for the havoc they knowingly wreak on unsuspecting families."
